SWEET HOME — Sisters rallied from a 2-0 deficit to stun Sweet Home 3-2 on Tuesday in a Sky-Em League volleyball match at SHHS. Set scores were 20-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-16, 15-13.

The loss snapped a six-match winning streak for the Huskies (12-4, 6-2), whose other Sky-Em League loss came by a 3-2 score at Sisters on Sept. 21. They resume league play at Sutherlin on Thursday.

Harrisburg 3, Glide 0

GLIDE- Harrisburg earned its second straight win with a victory against Glide in a Mountain Valley Conference match. Set scores were 25-16, 25-16, 25-14.

The Eagles (13-5, 5-2) take on Pleasant Hill on Thursday.

Scio 3, Colton 1

SCIO — The Loggers claimed the PacWest Conference match 25-14, 25-10, 22-25, 25-12.

Kendall Porter had seven aces, Katelyn Gray had 13 kills, Aspen Schudel had 15 kills and 13 digs and Kasidee Parazoo had five blocks for Scio.

The Loggers (12-5, 7-3) host Blanchet Catholic on Wedneday in a a PWC match.

Boys Soccer

ADAIR VILLAGE — Santiam Christian won its second straight game, a 4-0 win over East Linn Christian in a 3A/2A/1A Special District 3 game.

The Eagles (5-4-3, 5-1-3) continue league play on Thursday as they host Central Linn.

Sprague 8, West Albany 0

SALEM— West Albany couldn’t slow down Sprague’s offense as the Bulldogs dropped their ninth consecutive game.

The Bulldogs (1-10, 0-7) have their final matchup of the season against West Salem on Tuesday.

Junction City 4, Sweet Home 2

JUNCTION CITY — Sweet Home couldn’t build off its non-conference win against Tillamook last week as it dropped a close contest to Junction City.

The Huskies (2-5-3, 1-3-3) continue league play on Thursday when they travel to Sisters.

SWEET HOME — Sweet Home fell 4-0 to Junction City in a Sky-Em League game.

The Huskies (2-7, 1-7) will look to get back on track with a Thursday matchup against Sisters.

Water polo

SALEM — West Albany swept South Salem as the girls won 11-3 and the boys prevailed 13-7.

Kylee Crofcheck had seven steals and two goals, Bailey Dickerson had 12 steals, Taylor Kelley had six steals, Olivia Friedel had four goals and Rachel Hugulet had two goals for West (14-4, 7-1), which plays at a tournament in Modesto, California, on Thursday-Saturday.

Goalie Conner Mier had 10 blocks, Randall Miller had six goals and Eric Formiller had three goals for the boys (11-8, 7-2), who are home with Sprague on Oct. 17 in their next game.
