The seventh-seeded South Albany High boys basketball team will host No. 10 Summit at 6 p.m. Saturday in the 5A state round of 16.
The winner advances to play No. 2 Crater or No. 15 Hermiston in next week’s state tournament at Gill Coliseum in Corvallis.
Presale tickets will be available at the South Albany main office from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for students.
South (19-5), which has won eight of its last nine games entering the postseason, placed second in the Mid-Willamette Conference and received a play-in round bye. The Rebels are trying to advance to the state quarterfinals for the second straight year.

Summit (13-7) finished in a tie for second with Bend in the Intermountain Conference and hit the road for the play-in round. The Storm earned a 55-54 victory at Parkrose Wednesday night to qualify for the round of 16.
Four MWC teams — No. 1 Silverton, South, No. 11 Crescent Valley and No. 13 Central — are in the boys round of 16. Fourth-seeded Wilsonville is the defending state champion.
In the girls bracket, five MWC teams will play round of 16 games Friday night: No. 3 Central, No. 5 Silverton, No. 9 Crescent Valley, No. 11 Lebanon and No. 15 Corvallis. Second-seeded La Salle is the reigning champion.
