Jake LaCoste (West Albany) had two carries for 26 yards Saturday in Air Force’s 62-0 home victory over Virginia Military Institute.
Nathan Jones (Scio) tied for the team lead with eight tackles last Thursday in Western Oregon’s 37-6 loss at Idaho State. Teammate Joey Roos (West Albany) added five tackles and one interception.
Grant Schroeder (Santiam Christian) completed 18 of 32 passes with four touchdowns and two interceptions Saturday in George Fox’s 30-28 loss at Wisconsin-Platteville. Schroeder also rushed for a team-high 33 yards on 14 carries.
Teammate Chase Hudson (Santiam Christian) started at right guard.
Maddy Gravley (Santiam Christian) had four kills, eight block assists and three digs Saturday in Oregon State’s 3-1 victory over Portland. Earlier in the day, she had two kills and four block assists in a sweep of Fresno State.
Friday, Gravley had two kills and one block assist in a 3-0 win over Alabama State.

Payton Rund (West Albany) had 11 kills, six digs, two block assists and an ace Saturday in Saint Mary’s’ straight-sets loss to Nebraska.
Friday, Rund had 11 kills, five digs, two assists and a block assist in a 3-0 win over Maryland Baltimore County. Earlier in the day, she had seven kills, eight digs, three assists, a stuff block and a block assist in a 3-1 victory over Oral Roberts.
All matches were part of the Ameritas Players Challenge in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Ally Benedict (West Albany) had one assist and one dig Saturday in Portland State’s 3-0 win over Gonzaga. Earlier in the day, she had six digs in a four-set victory over Arizona State.
Friday, Benedict had seven digs and an assist in a 3-1 win against Nevada.
All matches were part of the Gonzaga Tournament in Spokane, Washington.
Whitney Webster (West Albany) had eight kills, two digs and two block assists Saturday in Oregon Tech’s 3-0 home victory over Eastern Oregon in Klamath Falls. Teammate Bella Smith (Santiam Christian) had 18 digs and two assists.
Friday, Webster had nine kills, four digs, an ace and a block assist while Smith added 12 digs, four assists and two aces in a 3-2 home loss to College of Idaho.
Emma Ryan (Lebanon) had four digs and an assist Friday in Southern Oregon’s 3-0 home loss to Eastern Oregon in Ashland.
Madison McLain (Santiam Christian) had 32 assists and five digs Saturday in Corban’s straight-sets win at Multnomah in Portland. Teammate Amber Parker (West Albany) had 10 kills, six digs, two block assists, an assist and an ace, Marandah Boeder (West Albany) 11 kills, two block assists and a dig and Haley Wells (West Albany) 15 digs.
Friday, McLain had 13 assists, three digs and two aces, Parker 10 kills, three digs and two aces, Boeder three kills, four block assists and two digs and Wells five digs and two assists in a sweep of Warner Pacific in Portland.
Cara Crosby (Santiam Christian) had two digs Saturday in Whitworth’s 3-0 loss to Gustavus Aldophus. Earlier in the day, she had nine digs, two assists and an ace in a five-set loss to Augsburg.
Friday, Crosby had three digs and an assist in a straight-sets victory over Schreiner.
All matches were part of the Oregon Trail Classic, held in Forest Grove and Newberg.
Jane Cale (West Albany) had 54 assists, 18 digs, four kills, two block assists and a stuff block last Thursday in Chemeketa’s 3-1 win over Lower Columbia in Salem. Teammate Lauren Kerlegan (Lebanon) added six kills, two digs and two block assists.
Igor Hubenya (South Albany) started in the midfield Saturday in Corban’s 2-0 win over Whitman in Walla Walla, Washington.
Annie Anderson (Lebanon) started at defender Friday in Northwest Christian’s 2-1, double-overtime loss at Willamette in Salem.
AJ Holmberg (Scio), competing for Western Oregon, finished 19th with a time of 21 minutes, 14.29 seconds Friday at the 6,000-meter Linfield Harrier Classic in McMinnville.
Nicole Niskanen (South Albany), competing for Western Oregon, finished 39th with a time of 18:07.73 Friday at the 4,000-meter Linfield Harrier Classic.
