Joey Roos (West Albany) and Nathan Jones (Scio) had three tackles apiece Saturday in Western Oregon’s 48-17 loss at Azusa Pacific in Glendora, California.


Grant Schroeder (Santiam Christian) led George Fox in passing (6 of 16 for 105 yards with a touchdown and an interception) and rushing (13 carries for 60 yards and two scores) Saturday in George Fox’s 27-7 victory over Pacific in Newberg. Teammate Chase Hudson (Santiam Christian) started at right guard.

Men’s soccer

Igor Hubenya (South Albany) started in the midfield Saturday in Corban’s 2-0 home victory over Southern Oregon in Salem.

Friday, Hubenya recorded three shots in a 1-0 home win over Oregon Tech.

Annie Anderson (Lebanon) started at defender Friday in Northwest Christian’s 1-0 home loss to Southern Oregon in Eugene.


Maddy Gravley (Santiam Christian) had six kills, four block assists and a dig Saturday in Oregon State’s 3-0 loss at Utah.

Friday, Gravley had one block assist in a five-set loss at Colorado.


Payton Rund (West Albany) had six kills, nine digs and one block assist Saturday in Saint Mary’s’ 3-1 loss at Pepperdine.

Last Thursday, Rund had four digs and one block assist in a five-set loss at Loyola Marymount.


Ally Benedict (West Albany) had two assists and a dig Saturday in Portland State’s 3-0 home loss to Sacramento State.

Last Thursday, she had two digs in a road sweep of Montana State.


Libbie Hoene (Lebanon) had 16 digs and one ace Tuesday in Western Oregon’s straight-sets loss at Concordia in Portland.

Saturday, Hoene had 19 digs and four assists in a 3-0 loss at Western Washington in Bellingham, Washington.

Last Thursday, she had 10 digs and an ace in a four-set loss at Simon Fraser in Burnaby, British Columbia.


Emma Ryan (Lebanon) had four digs and three aces Monday in Southern Oregon’s home sweep of William Jessup in Ashland.

Saturday, Ryan had three digs and an ace in a straight-sets loss at Corban.

Friday, she had 12 digs and an assist in a 3-0 loss at Northwest Christian.


Whitney Webster (West Albany) had 10 kills, three digs and two block assists Tuesday in Oregon Tech’s four-set home loss to William Jessup in Klamath Falls. Teammate Bella Smith (Santiam Christian) had 25 digs, five assists and two aces.

Saturday, Webster had six kills and a dig while Smith added 13 digs and four assists in a straight-sets loss at Northwest Christian.

Friday, Webster had seven kills, two block assists and a dig, and Smith 10 digs and two assists in a 3-0 loss at Corban.


Amber Parker (West Albany) had nine kills, 12 digs and two block assists Saturday in Corban’s home sweep of Southern Oregon. Teammate Marandah Boeder (West Albany) tallied five kills and seven block assists, Madison Milligan (Santiam Christian) 18 assists and a dig and Haley Wells (West Albany) 10 kills and an assist.

Friday, Parker had nine kills, nine digs and a block assist, Boeder eight kills, four block assists, two stuff blocks and an assist, Milligan 18 assists, four digs, an ace and a kill and Wells 11 digs, two aces and two assists in a sweep of visiting Oregon Tech.


Cara Crosby (Santiam Christian) had three digs and two aces Saturday in Whitworth’s straight-sets win at George Fox.

Friday, Crosby had two digs in a road sweep of Lewis & Clark in Portland.


Kya Knuth (Lebanon) had eight digs Saturday in Linn-Benton’s home sweep of Southwestern Oregon. Teammate Maddie Norris (Lebanon) added four kills, four digs, three aces and a block assist.

Friday, Knuth had three digs and an assist while Norris recorded five assists in a 3-0 victory over visiting Umpqua.


Jane Cale (West Albany) had 10 kills, six digs, four block assists, two assists and an ace Saturday in Chemeketa’s home sweep of Mt. Hood in Salem. Teammate Lauren Kerlegan (Lebanon) had 10 kills, six block assists and two digs.

Last Wednesday, Cale had 22 digs, 15 assists, five kills and two block assists while Kerlegan tallied six kills, three digs, three block assists and an assist in a five-set win over visiting Clark.
