Oregon's new law banning cyanide bombs is a very good one. These devices are dangerous to children, to domestic pets and to a wide range of wildlife species. The Federal Government's Wildlife Services uses this poison to slaughter tens of thousands of animals every single year. Now it will be illegal to do so in Oregon.

Our representative in the Oregon House of Representatives, Shelly Boshart Davis, voted against this ban. The vote was 53-6. Shelly Boshart Davis was one of the six voting "nay" against banning cyanide bombs.

I will be voting "nay" against her during the next election.
