Question: From whence come morals? We always say, when hearing of a school shooting, that it was immoral. Why? When a human child is born they know nothing. No instincts except grasping and sucking, little else.
So, any morals they have has to be taught. Where do they learn? Well, it used to be school but the Supreme Court ruled out prayer and the Bible and, in essence, God. So where do they learn? Only one place that I know and that's the Bible. In the Old Testament, Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 and in all the New Testament because Jesus Christ was the one who gave the commandments in the Old.
My question is where do our kids learn morals? Do you teach them? Probably not. Don't say conscience, because conscience is driven by morals. You can almost date the beginning school shootings when morals were taken out of school. We have let our kids down by not making sure they have the proper foundation of the 10 Commandments. As adults, our bad!
