We’re getting papier-mâché these days instead of a paper. What happened to the newspaper being delivered in a plastic bag during the long, long rainy season? Many days the paper is literally unreadable as it falls apart into a soggy mess as soon as we try to turn the pages. I always used to save the bags and give them back to the carrier to reuse over and over and would be glad to do that again, so the issue wouldn’t be one of increasing plastic pollution. What’s the solution?
