One of the features I look forward to in the Democrat-Herald is the column by John Rosemond. His parenting advice results from years of experience working as a psychologist in mental health programs, as a family psychologist, successfully parenting two children, and enjoying a marriage to the same women for over 40 years (no small accomplishment).
Rosemond is able to sift through current parenting fashions and communicate strategies that work (or don't work) in training children. This information is so important to ensure healthy families and a thriving community. Please keep the column coming; it is one of the best features of your newspaper and a wonderful resource for anyone responsible for children.
