Women in the Willamette Valley are invited to participate in the winter 2017 Community Wide Bible Study, beginning Jan. 23 at participating churches in 21 cities.

Classes are free, with an option to purchase a companion workbook for $15.

This study's theme follows the books of Numbers and Exodus through the theme "One in a Million," by author and actress Priscilla Shirer.

Shirer encourages women to embrace the "wilderness experience" as they learn how to pursue the abundance God promises.

More than 1,600 women participated in the Willamette Valley's fall community studies. Classes are offered at a variety of days and times through several churches, some of which provide child care.

The event is sponsored by Mid-Valley Women of Christ, a nonprofit, faith-based organization whose mission is to connect women to reflect God's love through prayer, Bible studies and Bible-based outreach events.

For a list of participating churches and a schedule of classes, see the website at www.midvalleywomenofchrist.org. Registration is available online through the MVWC website.

Churches interested in participating are asked to write to info@midvalleywomenofchrist.org.
