Nearly 1,000 guests from around the state attended the Oregon Women for Agriculture's 30th annual auction and dinner Saturday evening at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center. The event raises more than $100,000. Proceeds help fund year-round programs that educate the public about the many facets and values of Oregon agriculture, including Ag In The Classroom, the Summer Ag Institute and the truck wrap project that places agriculture-based information advertising on semi-truck trailers. Music was provided by Kim Kutsch and the PBR Band. Auctioneer was Mac Stewart and emcee was Brandi Buxton. OWA has more than 300 members in eight chapters statewide.
