Disorderly — At 7:58 a.m. Friday an officer was dispatched to the Broken Yolk, 119 SW Third St., for reports of a man shouting obscenities. The man reportedly yelled obscene language at a family that was leaving the restaurant and verbally abused staff when asked to leave. Cameron Matthew Corbell, 45, was located at the downtown transit mall and was given a trespass notice prohibiting him from returning to the restaurant.

Theft — At 11:53 a.m. Friday an officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of Northwest 13th Street, where a resident was detaining a man who had allegedly stolen a wallet from the resident’s vehicle. The man was also found to be in possession of a stolen bicycle, which he said he had found the previous day at Eric Scott McKinley Skate Park. Phillip Merle Moullet, 33, was arrested on charges of second-degree theft, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle and theft of mislaid or lost property.

Wandering clubs — Police were called to the Dollar Tree store at 2001 NW Circle Boulevard at 2:34 p.m. on Saturday for a report of found property. A woman reported she had found a set of golf clubs in the middle of the street in the 1400 block of Harrison Boulevard and handed them over for safekeeping.

DUII-reckless driving — At 6:41 p.m. Saturday an officer was dispatched to the 700 block of Northeast Circle Boulevard for reports of a reckless driver. Jesus A. Valencia Camacho, 27, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and reckless endangerment. His blood alcohol level was reportedly measured at 0.33%.

Vandalism — At 9:13 a.m. Sunday, an officer was dispatched to the Elks Lodge at 1334 NW Ninth St. after a witness reported someone had destroyed a $3,000 sign at the lodge by throwing a rock at it. Joseph Michael Deridder, 33, was located nearby and was arrested on a vandalism charge.


Stolen trailer — At 9:37 a.m. Thursday a deputy was dispatched to the Hanson Country Inn, 795 SW Hanson St., for a report that a 2000 Morgan car trailer had been stolen from the property.

DUII-reckless driving — At 10:55 p.m. on Thursday a deputy discovered a man unconscious in his vehicle, which was facing the wrong way on Highway 20 near Northwest Scenic Drive in North Albany. Juan Jose Barba III, 20, of Adair Village was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving. His blood alcohol level reportedly measured 0.10%.

Stolen Jeep — At 9:15 a.m. on Friday a resident in the 1600 block of Southwest Allen Street in Corvallis reported that a red 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Oregon license number XUF-043, had been stolen from his house overnight.

Traffic complaint — At 11:38 a.m. on Friday a resident reported suspicious activity on Soap Creek Road. According to the resident, a white BMW hatchback and a motorcycle have been driving at high speeds on sunny afternoons with the BMW’s rear hatch open while someone in the car films the motorcycle as it follows behind. Neighbors were advised to call 911 when they see these violations occurring.

Menace to navigation — At 11:20 p.m. on Friday a deputy discovered a maroon 2001 Ford Econoline van abandoned in the middle of Hawk Hill Road near Shrike Way in Philomath. The vehicle was in a dark area with no hazard lights on. The owner had left his phone number on the window but did not answer his phone when called. The deputy had the van towed.


From Friday afternoon

Meth dealing – Erin Lynn Koenig of Oakridge was charged with delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school, delivery and possession of methamphetamine,

Criminal mistreatment – Bianca Suzanne Mejia of Albany was charged with first-degree criminal mistreatment.

Failure to report – Richard Leroy Aldridge, 54, of Lebanon, was charged with failure to report as a sex offender.

Attempt to elude – Geremy George Byzewski, 26, of Albany, was charged with felony attempt to elude (by vehicle), reckless driving, reckless endangering, driving while suspended or revoked and possession of heroin.

Burglary, vehicle theft – Arada Lynn Hunter, 49, of Salem, was charged with first-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a vehicle, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and third-degree theft.

Failure to report – Dennis Mathew Phillips, 23, of Albany, was charged with failure to report as a sex offender.

From Monday afternoon

Witness tampering – David Russell Coats, 37, of Lebanon, was charged with tampering with a witness. This is his second open tampering with a witness case. Coats is scheduled to start a trial on Wednesday and is accused of first-degree robbery and other crimes.

Attempt to elude – Andrew David Lemmon, 30, of Albany, was arraigned on an indictment for charges of felony attempt to elude, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person.

Vehicle theft – Joshua Eric Matlock, 22, of Albany, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, felony attempt to elude (by vehicle), reckless driving, two counts of reckless endangering, attempted assault of a public safety officer, failure to perform the duties of a driver (property damage), and possession of methamphetamine.

Assault – Christopher Thomas Reed, 35, of Sweet Home, was charged with third-degree assault and reckless driving.


Stolen trailer – 1:22 p.m. Friday, 40900 block Lacomb Drive. A 16- to 18-foot tandem axle trailer with Ford Mustang rims was reported stolen. The loss value was approximately $2,000.


Tools theft – 3:25 p.m. Sunday, 1800 block Vine Street. A caller reported that three tool bags were stolen from inside his vehicle the previous night. The items were worth about $1,800.
