ALBANY POLICE

Theft arrest — 1:33 p.m. Monday, Napa, 2780 Pacific Blvd. S.W. Randall Reid, 34, an employee of the business, was arrested on a charge of second-degree theft. He allegedly stole approximately $400 to $500 through return frauds.

Car vs. pedestrian crash — 2:19 p.m. Monday, 1400 block Waverly Drive. Tyler Gerig, 15, was taken to a local hospital after running a red light on his bicycle and being struck by an SUV. No citations were issued.

LINN COUNTY SHERIFF

Copper theft — 12:21 p.m. Monday, 40500 block North McCully Mountain Road, near Lyons. A caller reported theft of copper wire from a cellular tower site. Someone tore the wiring off the outside walls within the fenced compound.

Burglary arrest — 12:37 p.m. Monday, 48400 block Santiam Highway. A caller said that a man was walking around his property and trying to get in his front door. Lamar Wilson, 26, of Sweet Home, was arrested on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, second-degree burglary and contempt of court.

SWEET HOME POLICE

Burglary arrest — 8:20 p.m. Monday, Linn County Jail. Antony Allen Victor, 31, of Sweet Home, was arrested on charges of second-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, second-degree trespass, third-degree escape, third-degree theft, unauthorized use of a vehicle and failure to appear.
