From Tuesday afternoon:

Second-degree robbery — John Lee Stone, 25, of Albany, was charged with second-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon, menacing and third-degree theft. The crimes allegedly occurred on Sunday at the Sweet Home Safeway. The charging document did not list the specific weapon used. His security was set at $50,000 in the case.

Attempted first-degree assault, officer assault — Adam Lyle Cleveland, 33, of Albany, was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree assault, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon, assaulting a public safety officer, resisting arrest, harassment and menacing-domestic violence. Cleveland allegedly attempted to assault a female and an Albany Police Department officer on Sunday. One of the weapons listed in the charging document is a rock, and another is a bat. His security was set at $20,000.

Vehicle theft — Iain Alexander Robert Duncan, 22, of Albany, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle. The crime allegedly took place on Jan. 26. His bail was set at $10,000.

Burglary — Christopher Earl Esman, 21, of Mill City, was charged with first-degree burglary, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of menacing. The crimes allegedly occurred on Feb. 11, and the burglary was in the 47100 block of East Lyons-Mill City Drive. A male and a female were the listed victims of the menacing.

Burglary — Jay Curtis Phillips, 56, of Albany, was charged with first-degree burglary. Phillips allegedly entered a dwelling in the 1200 block of Maple Street S.W. in Albany on Monday. His bail was set at $15,000.

Assaulting an officer — Alexander Zachary Russell, of Lebanon, was charged with assaulting a public safety officer, resisting arrest, interfering with a peace officer or parole and probation officer and second-degree disorderly conduct. The crimes allegedly occurred on Friday. The victim of the assault is a Lebanon Police Department officer. Russell was given a conditional release from jail.

Vehicle theft — Taylor Austin Templeton, 23, of Lebanon, was charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle. The crime allegedly occurred on Monday. His security was set at $7,500.

From Wednesday afternoon:

Unlawful use of a weapon — Jefferson Warren Davis, 36, of Albany, was charged with unlawful use of a weapon and three counts of menacing. The crimes allegedly occurred on Tuesday, and the weapon was a knife, according to court paperwork. Two females and a male were listed as the victims of the menacing. His bail was set at $5,000.

Identity theft  Douglas Aaron Freels, 36, of Albany, was charged with two counts of identity theft and two counts of unlawful entry into a motor vehicle. The crimes allegedly occurred on Feb. 1.
