IN APPRECIATION

A great birthday

I wish to thank my family and good friends who helped me celebrate my 90th birthday.

It was great and very much appreciated.

Food drive success

The staff and students at Albany Options School would like to express their sincere appreciation to everyone who supported their efforts in a food drive to help stomp out hunger in our community.

High school students reading “The Hunger Games” in their Young Adult Reading class coordinated a food drive and chose Fish of Albany as the organization to receive all of the food. On Tuesday, March 6, the students collected food from around Albany, which added up to 225 pounds of non-perishable food for Fish of Albany.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this service learning project. The staff and students were overwhelmed by the generous response they received from the community.

Anna Sokolov, Albany Options School
