Siletz Tribal Fund
Helping Hands Gleaners would like to sincerely thank and acknowledge the board of the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund for providing our organization with a $5,000 grant.
The support of the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund will allow us to continue to provide food to those in need in our community. Over the past year the number of low-income, elderly and disabled individuals needing food from our program has climbed to 700 on a weekly basis. In 2011, Helping Hands Gleaners distributed over 300,000 pounds of food.
Each quarter the Siletz Tribal Charitable Contribution Fund awards non-profits with grant funding. The Siletz Tribe is to be commended and recognized as they continue to honor their tradition of sharing within the communities across the state of Oregon.

Clothing Event at AOS
The staff and students at Albany Options School would like to thank everyone who participated, donated and volunteered at our clothing share event on Wednesday, May 23.
We would like to express our gratitude to Old Navy for the donation of hangers, Ross Dress for Less for the donation of shopping bags and St. Vincent de Paul, which loaned clothing racks for the event. With your contribution we were able to offer our students a very special opportunity.
We would also like to thank the OSU sororities and fraternities who donated the clothes for the event including Sigma Chi, Lambda Chi Alpha and Sigma Kappa.
Our sincerest appreciation to Savannah Powell and the ladies of Sigma Delta Omega who volunteered and coordinated this event, collected and sorted the donations, and put it together for the students. Thank you.
