Sally was born to Dr. N.E. lrvine and Eve Suzanne Flood on January 23, 1926 in the Martha Mary Schuler Hospital in Lebanon.

She went to St. Helen's Hall in Portland, and enrolled at Oregon State University in 1944, pledging Kappa Alpha Theta and graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics.

Dalton and Sally were high school sweethearts and married in Corvallis at the Episcopal Church on August 18, 1946. Sally worked in the College Nursery School while Dalton worked on his degree. They moved to Lebanon in 1951 and settled down when Dalton established Dalton's Photography and Printing, running it for 45 years.

They have three children, Steve, Dalton III and Susie, who were the joys of their lives. They followed them in all their activities and sports and were so proud. All of the children graduated from Lebanon High School.

Sally knitted personalized Christmas socks for 58 years and loved each child who received one.

In 1985, Dalton and Sally became snowbirds and bought a motor home and settled in Mesa. She became a tennis fanatic - not very good, but loved every minute - plus all the new wonderful friends she made.

Her life has been her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Amanda Boyce, Michelle Farley, Katie Burns, Jenni Eller, Bradley Fischer Boyce, Dodson Dean Farley and Emma Joe Eller.

Her husband of 61 years and her children were the most important things to her.

At her request, no services will be held.
