Janice Dye, 38, of Albany died Thursday evening at the scene of the three-car accident on Highway 34.

Janice was born in Klamath Falls but grew up in Kent, Washington. She graduated from Kentwood High School in the class of 1995. 

She is survived by her son, Jaxon James Magee, who was the beacon of her life. Baby Jaxon was her world and being his mother was the highlight of her life. 

She is also survived by her parents, John and Judy (Karow) Dye; sister Jenifer “Nici” Dye-Ledbetter (husband Jim); brother Jeff Dye; niece Jacee Dye-Ledbetter; and fiancé Brian Magee. Janice is also survived by Mickalya and Brian Magee III.

A memorial is being planned for a later date.
