U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden is scheduled to speak at Linn-Benton Community College this month as part of a series of town halls.
Wyden has pledged to hold annual town halls in each of Oregon's 36 counties. He will spend part of February in Multnomah, Clackamas, Linn, Lincoln and Tillamook counties.
The Linn County town hall is set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, in Linn-Benton Community College’s activity center/gym, 6500 Pacific Blvd. S.W., Albany
“With the actions of the new president, it’s more essential than ever to hear directly from Oregonians about the top priorities to fight for in Washington, DC," Wyden said in a statement to local media outlets. “The Oregon way is to stay focused on finding solutions, and these town halls are a vital piece of achieving that goal.”
