The Long Timber Brewing Co. in downtown Monroe officially opened for business on June 4, and things have been very busy since, said bookkeeper Natalie Payne, whose family owns the restaurant and microbrewery.
“It’s going good so far. We’re really happy to be open,” she added.
The opening came just before Monroe High School’s graduation on Friday, and the Long Timber was packed that night, Payne said.
The current hours of the business are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Once the business is fully staffed, the Long Timber will do breakfast throughout the week, Payne said.
“As of right now, we’re still hiring people and getting people on board,” she added.
