Warrant arrests — 4:58 p.m. Wednesday, 200 Main St. Shannon Ranee Blackwell, 46, was arrested on a Sweet Home Municipal Court warrant for second-degree theft. She was also arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for failure to appear on a delivery of methamphetamine charge. She was booked and lodged at the Linn County Jail.
Donald Wayne Ames, 28, was also arrested on a Linn County Circuit Court warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine, criminal driving while suspended and third-degree possession of a controlled substance from Linn County; a Benton County Circuit Court warrant for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and a Philomath Municipal Court warrant for driving while suspended. Ames was booked and lodged at the Linn County Jail. Their vehicle was impounded.
Harassment — 9:18 p.m. Wednesday. Robert Charles Bennett, 46, was charged at 9:18 p.m. Wednesday with harassment and simple assault after allegedly threatening to hurt his girlfriend in the 1900 block of Kalmia Street.
Burglary — Terry Kim Nickell, 56, was arrested by Albany police officers Wednesday and charged with the Jan. 13 first-degree burglary of a residence in the 1500 block of Thurston Street. According to Albany police, the homeowners were not present, but a video camera on the property captured an image of the burglar, who took two cellphones and clothing from inside the home. The video was turned over to the police and Nickell was arrested Wednesday, booked and lodged at the Linn County Jail.
LINN COUNTY SHERIFF
Missing vehicle — 3:42 p.m. Wednesday, 41000 block of Marks Ridge Drive. A caller reported that he picked up a woman and took her home with him. He fell asleep. When he awoke, both the woman and his 2000 Hyundai automobile were missing.
