Linn County Commissioners Roger Nyquist, John Lindsey and Will Tucker agreed on their committee and liaison assignments Tuesday morning.
Nyquist, who will remain as board chairman, will also oversee general administration; the Fair & Expo Center; health services and roads.
He also will work with the treasurer’s office and Linn County Sheriff.
Other assignments: Cascades West Area Commission on Transportation; Emergency Telephone Agency; Linn County FEMA board; GIS committee; local Public Safety Coordinating Council; Mid-Willamette Job Council; Linn County Drug Treatment Court steering committee; Oregon Council on Problem Gambling; Oregon Parks & Recreation Department’s Scenic Bikeway Committee.
Lindsey will oversee the OSU Extension District, serving as chairman and juvenile and detention.
He will work with the clerk and district attorney’s office.
Other assignments: Association of O & C Counties; Oregon District 4 Council of Governments; Hood/Willamette RAC; Selective Service board.
Tucker will oversee parks and the Linn County Museum, as well as the planning and building department.
He will work with assessment and taxation, justice court and the surveyor’s office.
Other assignments: Community Services Consortium executive committee; Linn County Code Enforcement; Linn County Family Law Advisory Committee; In Cite Innovative Workforce Solutions; Mid-Willamette Job Council; Oregon County Parks Assistance Advisory Committee; Northwest Oregon RAC.
