Public safety workers used a boat and a cadaver dog to search the Willamette River near Corvallis for Suzanne Durheim on Thursday, but couldn’t find the missing Brownsville woman.
“We’ll continue to search tomorrow,” said Benton County Undersheriff Greg Ridler.
Durheim’s pickup apparently slid off an icy Highway 20 on Monday morning and crashed into the Willamette River near the Hewlett Packard campus.
She was reported missing on Monday afternoon by her family after she didn’t show up for work at Samaritan Health Plans. Family members found a piece of her pickup’s fender along Highway 20 on the route she took to work.
Authorities searched for signs of Durheim on Monday, and found her pickup on Tuesday afternoon. The pickup was removed from the river on Wednesday, but public safety workers didn’t find any signs of Durheim, and continued their search.
