More than 170 photographers — including four members of the Corvallis Gazette-Times and Albany Democrat-Herald photo staff — spread out across the state Monday to document a day in the life of Oregon.
The 24-hour photo blitz, dubbed Dayshoot + 30, marked the 30th anniversary of Project Dayshoot, which brought together images shot by more than 90 photographers on July 15, 1983, into an exhibition and later a book called ‘One Average Day.’

Photos and video clips gathered during Dayshoot + 30 will be collected online and become part of the permanent collection of the Oregon Historical Society. You can see more of the project at http://dayshoot30.org.
