From flip phones to Livestrong bracelets, you can’t expect all trends to stick around. The same is true for dog breeds. While some breeds, like the Australian terrier or the rat terrier, grew more popular over the last year, others have not fared so well.
The data team at PetBreeds, a part of the Graphiq network, used the latest data from the American Kennel Club to compare the ranks of featured dogs from 2014 to 2015 to find the breeds that tumbled in popularity over the course of the year. Finally, we ranked them from smallest to largest change in rank.
Note: Ties were listed based on 2015 AKC rankings.
