Sunday worship: Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 2650 N.W. Highland Drive in Corvallis, shares God’s Word and Holy Communion at 9 a.m. Sunday, both in the sanctuary and via live-stream worship, accessible at www.svlccorvallis.org and facebook.com/shepherdcorvallis

Pastor Eric Bohlmann’s sermon theme is “Sitting at the Table Together.”

The congregation continues to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines to protect worshipers’ health, and asks individuals to wear masks.

Multi-Gen Bible study follows the worship service at 10:30-11:30 a.m., both in church and via zoom.  This week continues the study of the Gospel of Mark in chapters nine and ten.  For access to the zoom meeting, call the church office at 541-753-2816.

Sunday service: In this time of extreme worldviews, it is easy to give and take offense. Navigating relationships can be like walking through a minefield. Our attitudes towards others often stem from past wounds and grievances that have not healed or been addressed. Join us for a four week dive into forgiveness. Is it even possible? Might it hold a key to healing the conflicts we are facing as a nation? During these four weeks we will look at the science of forgiveness, question traditional theology's version of forgiveness, and learn to practice forgiveness in our own lives.

Join us this Sunday at 9:30 am. In-person (masks required) or online at https://www.facebook.com/CorvallisFUMC/live/.

Join Rev. Linda Tucker in a four week study on Forgiveness. Sundays 6:30-7:30 p.m..  Starts Sunday Sept. 26. https://greaternw.zoom.us/j/92578124401?pwd=ZGRPcFVpbUZOL05EYzBzRWhpSEZYZz09. Meeting ID: 925 7812 4401; Passcode: 758961.

Join Rev. Tim Stover with the Adult Learning Community Sundays at 11 a.m., starting Sept. 26. Famously known as the text that Martin Luther King Jr. sought inspiration from in the days leading up to the Montgomery bus boycott, Howard Thurman’s Jesus and the Disinherited helped shape the civil rights movement and changed our nation’s history forever. Zoom meeting: https://greaternw.zoom.us/j/99066839978#success.
