Sermon Title: Innovation and Difference: On A Disruptive Call; Scripture: Matthew 9:9-17

The church welcomes Dr. Leroy Barber, Director of Innovation for an Engaged Church, for the PNW UMC Conference. Baha'i devotions and discussion: “Ideal Society” is set for 10:30 a.m. Sunday in person at 5006 SW Hollyhock Circle in Corvallis, or online.

It’s been said that it is easier to know where you’re going if you know where you’ve been. These days, as we continue our advance toward a civilized society, we can ask what the religions of the past have taught us about living in a future community. In this week’s discussion we turn to the sacred texts of the past to consider such lessons as abundance, unity, and justice.

All are welcome to join in readings, prayers and discussion of that which is everlasting, in this world and the next. Zoom instructions for the meeting and readings can be found on the local Baha'i website: Those who need help or have questions can call 541-753-5752.
