COOS BAY — The Linn-Benton women's basketball team finished the season on a winning note with an 83-68 NWAC win at SW Oregon.

The Roadrunners outscored SWOCC 21-11 in the second quarter and went into halftime with a 40-27 lead.

The teams played to a standoff in the second half and LBCC got its 10th win of the season (10-18 overall, 5-11 in the Southern Division).

Courteney Landis had 22 points and 10 asssists and Madeline Oakden added 21 points for LBCC.

Men

COOS BAY — Three-pointers made the difference in a three-point game as the Linn-Benton men lost a tough 90-87 NWAC game at SW Oregon.

The Roadrunners hit six 3-pointers but SWOCC dropped in 10 en route to the win.

Taylor Jensen had 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead LBCC. Former West Albany player Cooper Getsfrid had 19 points and nine boards and Bailey Evers added 17 points.
