Oregon State outside hitter Mary-Kate Marshall has been named to the American Volleyball Coaches Association Pacific North all-region team and setter Kylee McLaughlin has been voted as the Pacific North Region's freshman of the year.
It is the third all-region selection for Marshall, a senior. She was named to the team in 2014 and 2016. She is the first Oregon State player to be named to the first team multiple times in her career.
Marshall was also selected to the Pac-12 all-conference first team after leading Oregon State to the NCAA tournament for the second time in her career and fourth time in program history. Marshall led the Beavers and ranked third in the Pac-12 with 4.34 kills per set.
Marshall finished her collegiate career as one of the most prolific attackers in Oregon State history, with 1,915 career kills — the second most in school history. In 2017, Marshall recorded 525 kills, the sixth most in OSU single-season history, and 603.5 points overall, the third most in a single season for an Oregon State player.
She also had a team-high 42 service aces, and was fifth on the squad with 268 digs and fourth with 58 total blocks.
McLaughlin finished the season ranked fourth in the Pac-12 with 10.69 assists per set. She was fourth on the team with 312 digs, and was fifth with 17 service aces and 57 total blocks.
