SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The second round of the Desert Mountain Intercollegiate was suspended due to darkness on Saturday, but the Oregon State men’s golf team was able to get all 36 holes in.

The Beavers shot a 19-over 291-304—595 at the par-72, 7,107-yard Desert Mountain Outlaw Course and are currently in seventh place.

Nine of the 12 teams were still on the course when play was suspended. The second round will resume at 8 a.m. Sunday and the final round will begin immediately after. Live scoring is available at

Freshman Spencer Tibbits had five birdies in both rounds and led the Beavers with a 4-under 69-71—140.

Sophomore Kyosuke Hara finished with a 2-over 70-76—146, junior Trevor Yu shot a 7-over 74-77—151, sophomore Shawn Lu posted a 14-over 78-80—158 and freshman Keaton Gudz carded a 15-over 78-81—159.
