TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 14
FORGERY: 10:07 a.m., 400 block of Northeast Circle Boulevard, Corvallis. A manager at Kmart reported that on Nov. 12 someone bought approximately $7,800 in Visa and Mastercard gift cards but the payment did not go through. After further investigation, police determined the suspect may have committed similar crimes at Kmarts in several other states. Police have not identified the suspect.
HARASSMENT: 5:29 p.m., 28200 Highway 34 Bypass, Corvallis. A woman reported a man grabbed her elbow while she was running along the path underneath the Van Buren Bridge. Police found Matthew Thompson, 50, and the woman reportedly identified him as the suspect. Police arrested Thompson for harassment.
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 15
DUII: 12:07 a.m., Northwest Walnut Boulevard and Northwest Highland Drive, Corvallis. An officer stopped a car for speeding and arrested the driver, identified as Adam Brown, for driving under the influence of intoxicants. Brown reportedly admitted to drinking alcohol that evening. He reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 percent.
