Opportunity to Comment on Projects Proposed for Funding Through 2019-2021State of Oregon Transportation Grants Linn County requests comments regarding the following projects recommended by the Linn County Transportation Advisory Committee for funding from the Federal Section 5310 Grant Program offered by the Oregon Department of Transportation. ODOT distributes the funds, by formula, to counties/transit districts for allocation to local transportation programs. The proposed projects will provide enhanced transportation mobility for seniors and individuals with disabilities. Vehicle Preventive Maintenance: $164,758 City of Lebanon Dial-A-Bus (7 vehicles), Senior Citizens of Sweet Home/Linn Shuttle and Sweet Home Dial-A-Bus (15), Chamberlin House (121 Oregon Mennonite Residential Services (3) and Sunshine Industries (16) Purchase of new vehicles: $305,082 Senior Citizens of Sweet Home/Linn Shuttle 2 buses Purchase Service (Operations): $357,905 Senior Citizens of Sweet Home/Linn Shuttle ($153,366), Albany UZA funding for Linn-Benton Loop ($59,000) and Albany UZA funding for Albany Call-A-Ride ($145,539) Additional information is available from: Linn County Special/ Rural Transportation Program, c/o Mark Volmert, Room 201 Linn County Courthouse or (541) 231-8903 or Comments may be submitted in writing by 5:00pm February 11, 2019 to the address above or in person when the Linn County Board of Commissioners considers this matter at its February 12, 2019 meeting which starts at 9:30am in the Commissioners Meeting Room of the Linn County Courthouse.
