NORTHRIDGE, Calif. — The Oregon State softball team extended its win streak to six games with a two-game sweep on the second day of the CSUN Tournament hosted.

Oregon State (17-8) wraps up the tournament at 8 a.m. against Texas Tech (13-8).
Against Seattle on Saturday, the Beavers showed plenty of power at the plate as they collected nine hits, including three homeruns, en route to the win.
The Beavers scored in three consecutive innings beginning with the second. Alysha Everett started things off with a single to center field; consecutive walks and a fielder's choice out allowed Everett to cross home plate.
With the bases loaded, Kayleen Shafer stepped in the box hitting a sacrifice fly out to right field scoring Hope Brandner. A hard-hit infield RBI single for Michelle Sass brought Missy Nunes home for a 3-0 lead.
Brandner hit her first of two home runs — a two-run shot — in the third inning. Not to be outdone, Shelby Weeks launched a two-run shot over the right field wall for her third homer of the season in the fourth inning.
In the seventh, Brandner hit her team-leading seventh homerun of the year, a two-run blast to left field.
Mariah Mazon tossed a complete game shutout earning her seventh win of the season (7-4). Mazon gave up only four hits while fanning four.
Against Texas Tech, the Beavers had four runs off nine hits. OSU gained the lead in the second inning and never relinquished it.
