HOOD RIVER — Chance Lamer (106), Drew Roberts (113) and Legend Lamer (138) all claimed individual titles and helped the Crescent Valley High wrestling team finish third out of nine teams at the Hood River Elks Invitational on Saturday.
Brandon Lareau (285) was second; Owen Cserep (106), Hunter Everland (120) and Brock Love (182) were third; Anthony Gimino (106) was fourth; and Garrett Upton (126), Ryan Terwilliger (152) and Garrett Olbrich (195) were sixth.
TIGARD — Serrano Patrick took home an individual title at 145 pounds to help the Spartans finish fifth out of nine teams at the Tigard Invitational.
Baily Epperson (145) and Izaak Worsch (160) were second; Christopher Ploanco (170) was third; Landon Haima (120) and Porter Johnson (182) were fourth; and Jaden Dart (106) and Emiliano Cruz (120) were sixth for the Spartans.
HILLSBORO — Lebanon was 14th and Sweet Home 21st in the 22-team Reser’s Tournament of Champions.
For Lebanon, Ryan Howard (106) and Chase Miller (145) were fourth and Cody Klient (152) was fifth.
For Sweet Home, Jackson Royer (126) was fifth and Travis Thorpe (138) was sixth.
Junction City Invitational
JUNCTION CITY — Harrisburg placed fifth and Jefferson 10th at the 17-team Junction City Invitational.
For Harrisburg, Chander Strauss (160) and Dax Bennett (182) took home individual titles. Leithan Briggs (170) was second; Russell Talmedge (106) third; Shamad Lawson (138) fifth; and Mason Rouillard (152) sixth.
For Jefferson, Cody Adams (170) was third and Bradley Browser (120) and Daniel Wilske (160) were fifth. Diana Escamilla was fourth in the girls group A division.
SUTHERLIN — Monroe was 12th out of 15 tams at the Sutherlin Invitational.
Louden Ballard (126) was second while Ricardo Ramos was first in the novice 162-168 division for the Dragons.
