The South Albany High girls basketball team ended its regular season on a high note as the Rebels squeaked by Corvallis 44-42 in a Mid-Willamette Conference game on Friday night.
Katie Mayhue led the way for South with 23 points, six rebounds and five assists. Bronte Mitchell added six points and five rebounds and Nicole Spriggs six points and four rebounds.
The Rebels (9-15, 5-9) play Crater in a play-in game on Tuesday.
Lebanon 65, Woodburn 25
LEBANON — Lebanon ended its regular season on a high-note as the Warriors thoroughly routed Woodburn.
The Warriors (17-6, 8-6) have concluded their regular season and have a TBD play in game on Tuesday.
Salem Academy 49, Santiam Christian 22
SALEM — Santiam Christian couldn’t keep pace with the No. 1 seed in the 3A playoffs as the Eagles fell to Salem Academy.
The Eagles finish the season 10-13.
Rainier 60, Jefferson 44
RAINIER — Jefferson couldn’t keep pace with Rainier as the Lions’ season concluded in the first round of the 3A playoffs.
The Lions finish the season 17-10 and made the postseason for the first time in 25 years.
WOODBURN — Lebanon couldn’t end its regular season on a high note as the Warriors fell to Woodburn, 60-50, in their final Mid-Willamette Conference game.
The Warriors finish the season 3-21.
