Abby Sadowsky had 11 points and 12 rebounds to lead South Albany to a 65-29 win over Woodburn on Friday in a Mid-Willamette Conference game at SAHS. 

Katie Mayhue added 13 points and eight rebounds, Victoria Vargas had 12 points, Annalee Flores nine points and Claire Angel six assists for the Rebels. 

The Rebels (7-11, 3-5) resume MWC action at Lebanon on Tuesday.

Central 43, Lebanon 15

INDEPENDENCE — The league-leading Panthers handled Lebanon in the Mid-Willamette Conference game. Lebanon (13-4, 4-4) hosts South Albany on Tuesday in its next MWC game.

West Albany 62, McNary 56

West topped the Celtics to win the Greater Valley Conference game, stretching its winning streak to five straight.

Molly Hendricks and McKenzie Kosmicki had 14 points each and Maddy Rice added 11 for the Bulldogs. Kosmicki had three of their nine 3-point baskets.

The Bulldogs (11-8, 7-4) host McMinnville on Tuesday in their next GVC game.

Central Linn 47, Regis 24

STAYTON —  Central Linn handled Regis in the Tri-River League matchup.

Colleen McLaughlin had 14 points, Jessica Neal 13 points, five steals and four rebounds and Sarah Conner nine points, eight rebounds and four steals for the Cobras.

The Cobras (15-7, 7-4) play a nonleague game with McKenzie on Monday.

Santiam Christian 47, Sheridan 36

ADAIR VILLAGE — The Eagles overcame a two-point halftime deficit to win their second straight game with the West Valley League victory.

Kalli Ropp got Santiam Christian going in the third quarter with a trio of 3-pointers. Trinity Beck led the Eagles with 10 points. Audrey Miller and Ropp added nine points apiece and Aliyah Atkins eight.

Santiam Christian (8-10, 6-4) plays Tuesday at Westside Christian.

Santiam 39, East Linn Christian 24

MILL CITY — Santiam topped East Linn Christian in the Tri-River League game. ELC (6-16, 1-9) hosts Regis on Tuesday in its next TRL game.

WOODBURN — South Albany got past Woodburn 83-66 to win the first game of the second half of Mid-Willamette Conference play.

The Rebels (14-4, 7-1) host Lebanon on Tuesday.

McNary 56, West Albany 39

The host Bulldogs trailed by just five after three quarters but couldn't make plays down the stretch, coach Derek Duman said.

Oreon Courtney led the Bulldogs with 18 points. Chase LaPerle added seven points and Jalen Handy and Nick Renyer five apiece.

West (9-9, 4-7 Greater Valley Conference) hosts West Linn in a nonleague game Saturday and returns to GVC play Tuesday at McMinnville.

Central 41, Lebanon 37

LEBANON — The Warriors took a Mid-Willamette home loss.

Lebanon (2-16, 1-7) play at South Albany on Tuesday.

Santiam Christian 67, Sheridan 41

ADAIR VILLAGE — Zach Baugher had 26 points, six rebounds and six steals to lead the Eagles to the West Valley League victory. 

Josh Baugher added 18 points, five assists and five rebounds and Grant Carley had five assists. 

The Eagles (17-4, 9-3) play Tuesday at Westside Christian.

Regis 62, Central Linn  40

STAYTON — Regis held off Central Linn in a Tri-River Conference game. The Eagles (2-20, 0-11) host McKenzie in a nonleague game on Monday and concludes the regular season with a league game at Western Mennonite on Friday. 

Santiam 48, East Linn Christian 45

MILL CITY — The Eagles lost a close Tri-River road game. 

East Linn (8-14, 3-7) hosts Regis on Tuesday.
