LEBANON — The Lebanon High baseball team bounced back from a Wednesday loss to defeat Corvallis 8-5 on Friday in the rubber game of the Mid-Willamette Conference series. 

The Warriors (5-9, 3-6) resume league play at Silverton on Tuesday. Corvallis (12-3, 7-2) has a league bye next week but will host North Medford in a nonleague contest on Thursday.

Crescent Valley 7, South Albany 4

South Albany couldn't keep pace with Crescent Valley as the Rebels dropped their 14th straight contest.

The Rebels (0-14, 0-9) travel to Dallas on Tuesday.

Santiam Christian 6, Amity 0

ADAIR VILLAGE — Santiam Christian continued its strong start to West Valley League play with a shutout of Amity.

The Eagles (9-5, 4-1) host Horizon Christian on Tuesday.

Sweet Home 14-16, Elmira 4-0

SWEET HOME — Sweet Home continued its hot start to Sky-Em League play as the Huskies defeated Elmira twice in a doubleheader. 

The Huskies (8-4, 4-1) travel to Sisters next Friday for a doubleheader with the Outlaws. 

Softball

HALSEY — Central Linn stayed perfect on the season with a 16-0 Special District 2 win over St. Paul.

Bre Buckridge pitched five innings, allowing just one hit, while tossing eight strikeouts. 

Emma Johnson paced the Cobras going 3 for 4 with two doubles while also driving in five runs. 

Mackenna Northern added two hits and three RBI and Kokoro Izumi two hits three RBI. 

The Cobras (9-0, 6-0) host Reedsport on Monday. 

Elmira 6-5, Sweet Home 4-8

ELMIRA — Sweet Home split a doubleheader with Elmira dropping the first contest before rebounding in the second. 

The Huskies (10-5, 3-3) host Sisters on Friday.

Boys Tennis 

West Albany defeated North Salem won two singles and two doubles matches against North Salem.

Singles winners for the Bulldogs were Bjorn Carlson and Emmanual Simpkins. Doubles winners were Cole Shafner and Andrew Piaslle and Mitchell Sorte and Wyatt French.

West Albany (4-2, 2-0) hosts Sprague on Monday.

South Albany 6, Dallas 3

The Rebels stretched their winning streak to three straight matches with the Mid-Willamette Conference win over the Dragons.

Singles winners for South were Isaac Hull (2) and Marco Reyes (3). Doubles victors were Austin Mendoza and Colby Romviel (1), Conner Harless and Zack Engel-Christensen (2), Armando Arreola and Charlie Solomon (3) and Nick Bohanan and Parker Romviel (4).

The Rebels (4-3) play at Crescent Valley on Monday and host Corvallis on Tuesday.

Girls tennis

SALEM — Sprague edged West Albany 5-3 in a Greater Valley Conference match at Sprague.

Grace Getsfrid (3) was the lone singles winner for West. Tia Bitz and Trillium Bristow (1) and Maiya Hamilton and Renee Watté (3) won their doubles matches.

West (5-2, 2-1) was without its top two singles players due to injury. It hosts McMinnville on Thursday.

Dallas 9, South Albany 0

DALLAS — South Albany blanked the Dragons in a Mid-Willamette Conference match. None of the matches went to three sets.
