Here is a look at this week’s prep football action. All games begin at 7 p.m.

Thursday

Silverton at South Albany

Records: Silverton 4-2, 2-2 5A Mid-Willamette Conference; South Albany 3-3, 3-0 MWC

South Albany will try to keep its perfect conference record alive Thursday night against visiting Silverton.

A win would put the Rebels in a tie for first place with Crescent Valley (6-0, 4-0), which has a nonconference game against Forest Grove this week.

The Foxes have suffered consecutive losses to the Raiders (33-13) and Corvallis (40-37).

Lebanon at Central (Independence)

Records: Lebanon 4-2, 1-2 MWC; Central 3-3, 1-2 MWC

Lebanon resumes MWC play after taking down Willamette 50-34 last week.

Central, a 5A state semifinalist in 2016, is trying to avoid a 1-3 start to its conference season.

The defending MWC and state champions own a two-game winning streak against the Panthers.

McNary at West Albany

Records: McNary 4-2 overall and 6A Greater Valley Conference; West Albany 4-2, 3-2 GVC

The Bulldogs, who close the regular season against Sprague (5-1, 4-1) and McMinnville (4-2, 3-2), would greatly improve their 6A state postseason chances with a victory Friday night.

The top four GVC teams receive an automatic playoff berth; West enters the week in a tie for fourth with the Grizzlies.

McNary is led by sophomore quarterback Erik Barker, a rising prospect for the class of 2020.

Jefferson at Gervais

Records: Jefferson 0-6, 0-3 3A PacWest Conference; Gervais 1-5, 0-2 PacWest

Jefferson’s best chance at a victory will likely be Thursday night.

Gervais’ lone win came against Portland Christian in Week 2.

Friday

Sweet Home at Sutherlin

Records: Sweet Home 5-1, 2-1 4A Sky-Em League; Sutherlin 2-4, 1-2 Sky-Em

Sweet Home bounced back from a tough loss at Cottage Grove to blank Junction City 39-0 in last week’s regular season home finale.

It was the second shutout of the year for the Huskies, who are allowing just 12.2 points per game.

Sutherlin is coming off a 34-8 road loss at Elmira.

Blanchet at Scio

Records: Blanchet 6-0, 3-0 PacWest; Scio 5-1, 4-0 PacWest

The Loggers can clinch the outright PacWest title with a victory.

Scio has scored at least 46 points in all four of its conference games.

Unbeaten Blanchet has the PacWest’s top scoring defense at 10.2 points allowed per contest.

La Pine at Harrisburg

Records: La Pine 6-0, 2-0 3A Mountain Valley Conference; Harrisburg 3-3, 2-0 MVC

Harrisburg has won consecutive MVC games after going 1-3 in nonconference play.

La Pine stunned Coquille, the conference's defending champion, 8-6 last week to run its record to 6-0. The Red Devils were averaging 58.2 points per game offensively prior to the loss.

Santiam Christian at Taft (Lincoln City)

Records: Santiam Christian 4-2, 2-1 3A West Valley League; Taft 1-5, 0-3 WVL

Following a 47-0 defeat at Cascade Christian in Medford, Santiam Christian returns to WVL play at Taft.

The Tigers have been outscored 214-71 during their four-game losing streak.

SC grinded out a 12-7 home victory in last year’s meeting.

St. Paul at Central Linn

Records: St. Paul 6-0, 2-0 2A Tri-River Conference; Central Linn 3-3, 1-1 Tri-River

Top-ranked St. Paul has put up 48 points per game this season, the most in all off 2A.

Central Linn evened its Tri-River record last week with a 26-8 victory against Regis in Stayton.
