ADAIR VILLAGE — Santiam Christian High evened its West Valley League record by topping Willamina 55-48 on Friday night, giving the Eagles their second win in their last three starts.

Aliyah Atkins had 14 points, Josie Risinger and Kalli Ropp 13 each and Audrey Miller 12 to lead a balanced SC offense.

"Aliyah was a monster on the boards," SC coach Wendi Farris said. "She played big for us. We shot well from the outside for the first time all season."

SC (3-7, 1-1) resumes league action against Taft on Tuesday in Lincoln City.

Blanchet Catholic 62, Jefferson 40

JEFFERSON — Blanchet Catholic outscored Jefferson 23-7 in the first quarter and went on to win the early-season PacWest Conference showdown.

Amanda Bruce and Cassie Aguilar had nine points each for the Lions.

Jefferson visits Scio on Tuesday in another PacWest encounter.

Kennedy 47, Central Linn 40

MT. ANGEL — The Cobras fell behind early and battled back only to come up short against the No. 1 Trojans in the Tri-River Conference game.  

Central Linn trailed 33-17 at the half and got within five in the fourth quarter. It was the Cobras' third game this week.

Colleen McLaughlin had 17 for Central Linn (6-5, 1-2), which resumes league play by hosting East Linn Christian on Tuesday.

Salem Academy 60, Scio 9

SALEM — The Loggers fell to 0-2 in the PacWest Conference and 2-10 overall with the road loss. Scio hosts Jefferson on Tuesday.

W. Mennonite 43, E. Linn Christian 26

SALEM — Western Mennonite topped East Linn Christian in the Tri-River Conference game. ELC (5-9, 0-2) resumes league play at Central Linn on Tuesday.

Crook County 51, Sweet Home 18

PRINEVILLE — The host Cowgirls handled the Huskies, who completed their nonleague schedule. Sweet Home (1-12) opens Sky-Em League action on Tuesday by hosting Sutherlin.
