CENTRAL POINT — The South Albany boys basketball team bounced back from Thursday's loss to Crater with a narrow 76-71 victory against Mazama. 

The Rebels (3-1) take on Del Norte (California) on Saturday.

McNary 72, West Albany 54

KEIZER — West Albany couldn't contain McNary's high-scoring offense as the Bulldogs dropped their first game of the season in the Greater Valley Conference matchup. 

Oreon Courtney led the Bulldogs (2-1) with 14 points. They host Sprague on Tuesday in another GVC game.

Neah Kah Nie 43, Scio 41

PORTLAND—After opening its season with a win over St. Paul, the Loggers have now dropped three straight, and this time in heartbreaking fashion against Neah Kah Nie. 

The Loggers (1-4) continue play in the Riverdale Tournament on Saturday.

Sweet Home 51, Phoenix 32

SWEET HOME — After starting the season 0-2, the Sweet Home boys basketball team has rallied and won its last two games, with the most recent being a victory against Phoenix.

HALSEY — Central Linn just narrowly missed out on getting its first win of the season as the Cobras lost a nail-bitter to the Devils on Friday night. 

The Cobras (0-3) take on Toledo on Monday.

Siuslaw 43, Harrisburg 34

HARRISBURG — The Eagles fell to the visitors from Florence in the opening round of the Eagle Booster Classic. Harrisburg (2-3) plays Baker at 11 a.m. Saturday in the consolation bracket.
