LEBANON — Ty Hargis and Trey Elverfeld combined for 14 points in the fourth quarter for the Lebanon High boys basketball team Tuesday night, but visiting Central made too many free throws down the stretch.
The Panthers held on for a 50-47 win.
Central shot 12 of 17 from the charity stripe in the final quarter to close out the game.
Hargis finished with a game-high 22 points while Elverfeld added 10.
Lebanon (9-11, 3-8) will host Silverton Friday on senior night.
McKay 98, West Albany 83
SALEM — West Albany dropped its fourth straight Greater Valley Conference game at McKay.
Chase LaPerle carried the Bulldogs with 27 points. Teammate Trent Dutcher added 16.
West pulled within eight in the fourth quarter before the Royal Scots put it away.
The Bulldogs (5-17, 3-11) host Forest Grove on Friday in their final home game.
AMITY — Rebeka Preston scored a game-high 38 points as SC clinched a spot in the 3A state postseason with the West Valley League playoff win.
Teammate Emma Roth held Amity's Shealyn McClean to just nine points.
SC (16-6) will face Dayton on Saturday in the WVL title game.
West Albany 55, McKay 28
The Bulldogs routed visiting McKay in Greater Valley Conference play.
West (10-12, 7-5) wraps up its home slate Friday against Forest Grove.
