For the second straight game, the Linn-Benton Community College men’s basketball team dropped a one-point decision.
On Sunday, the Roadrunners fell 78-77 to Whatcom in the third-place game of the Pierce Tournament.
LB (3-2) lost a 102-101 double-overtime decision to Bellevue on Saturday in the semifinals.
On Sunday, Trey Ecker had 13 points to lead the Roadrunners while Trent Van Cleave added 11 and Taylor Jensen and Cooper Getsfrid both chipped in 10.
The Roadrunners were just 5 for 25 from 3 and 14 for 21 from the free-throw line.
