Men’s golf

Josh Goins (Lebanon), competing for Northwest Christian, shared medalist honors Tuesday with a 69-73-73—215 at the Northwest Christian Invitational in Springfield.

Competing for Corban, Marcus Frazer (Lebanon) finished tied for 14th with a 76-78-77—231.


Chace Daskalos (West Albany), competing for Saint Martin’s, tied for 41st Tuesday with a 76-72-76—224 at the Western Washington Invitational in Bellingham, Washington. Playing for Concordia, Jaxson Daskalos (West Albany) shared 45th with a 73-78-74—225.

Last weekend, Chace Daskalos tied for 26th with a 77-74-70—221 at the Saint Martin’s Invitational in Olympia. Jaxson Daskalos tied for 35th with a 75-74-76—225.


Brian Sarbeck (Scio) had three tackles Saturday in Western Oregon’s 49-48 overtime home loss to Humboldt State. Teammates Nathan Jones (Scio) and Joey Roos (West Albany) added two tackles apiece.


Grant Schroeder (Santiam Christian) completed 15 of 22 passes for 231 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions Saturday in George Fox’s 44-0 shutout victory over visiting Wisconsin-Eau Claire in Newberg. Schroeder also ran for 39 yards on six carries while teammate Chase Hudson (Santiam Christian) started at right guard.


Maddy Gravley (Santiam Christian) had seven kills, five block assists, one dig and one assist Sunday in Oregon State’s four-set loss at USC.


Payton Rund (West Albany) had four kills, eight digs, two block assists and two aces last Thursday in Saint Mary’s’ five-set loss at Gonzaga.


Ally Benedict (West Albany) had three digs Saturday in Portland State’s home sweep of Weber State.

Last Thursday, Benedict had two digs in a straight-sets win over visiting Idaho State.


Libbie Hoene (Lebanon) had nine digs Saturday in Western Oregon’s 3-0 home loss to Central Washington.

Last Thursday, Hoene had six digs in a five-set home loss to Northwest Nazarene.


Emma Ryan (Lebanon) had eight digs and three aces Saturday in Southern Oregon’s five-set win over visiting Evergreen State in Ashland.

Friday, Ryan had six digs in a straight-sets home loss to Northwest.


Whitney Webster (West Albany) had three kills, three digs, one stuff block and one block assist Saturday in Oregon Tech’s 3-0 home loss to Northwest in Klamath Falls. Teammate Bella Smith (Santiam Christian) had eight digs, one assist and one ace.

Friday, Webster had 13 kills, four digs, three block assists, two aces and a stuff block while Smith added 16 digs and three assists in a five-set home victory over Evergreen State.


Amber Parker (West Albany) had 11 kills, seven digs and a block assist Sunday in Corban’s 3-0 victory at Walla Walla in College Place, Washington. Marandah Boeder (West Albany) added nine kills and one block assist, Madison Milligan (Santiam Christian) 25 assists, six digs and an ace and Haley Wells (West Albany) 12 digs.

Saturday, Parker had 13 kills, eight digs, three aces, two block assists and an assist, Boeder three digs and a block assist, Milligan 15 assists and five digs and Wells 16 digs and one assist in a sweep of Eastern Oregon in La Grande.

Friday, Parker had 13 kills and nine digs, Boeder 11 kills, two block assists and a stuff block, Milligan 27 assists and two digs and Wells 11 digs and an assist in a 3-1 loss at College of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho.


Cara Crosby (Santiam Christian) recorded one dig Friday in Whitworth’s 3-0 home win over Willamette in Spokane, Washington.


Kya Knuth (Lebanon) had 11 digs and two aces Friday in Linn-Benton’s five-set victory over visiting Clark. Teammate Maddie Norris (Lebanon) added four digs and an assist.

Last Wednesday, Knuth had four digs and an ace while Norris tallied an ace and a dig in a four-set win at Mt. Hood in Gresham.


Jane Cale (West Albany) had nine assists, three kills, one dig and one block assist Saturday in Chemeketa’s road sweep of Southwestern Oregon in Coos Bay. Teammate Lauren Kerlegan (Lebanon) tallied four kills, two block assists and a dig.

Friday, Cale had 29 assists, three digs and two kills while Kerlegan added five kills and a dig in a 3-0 win at Umpqua in Roseburg.

Men’s soccer

Igor Hubenya (South Albany) scored a second-half goal Saturday in Corban’s 3-2 victory at Providence in Great Falls, Montana.

Women’s soccer

Annie Anderson (Lebanon) started at defender for Northwest Christian in Saturday’s 2-1 loss at Carroll College in Helena, Montana, and Friday’s 3-2 loss at Providence.
