Women’s swimming

College of Idaho’s Maddy Kelly (Lebanon) set a new school record in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2 minutes, 13.41 seconds during Saturday’s dual meet with Whitman in Walla Walla, Washington. It was the third-fastest time in NAIA this season.

Kelly also won the 100 freestyle (54.21) and 100 butterfly (59.71) while swimming a leg on College of Idaho’s winning 200 medley relay team that finished in 1:51.99.

Men’s basketball

Nate Sherwood (West Albany) had 14 points, five rebounds, two assists and two steals Saturday in Idaho’s 63-54 home victory over Sam Houston State. Teammate Chad Sherwood (West Albany) added seven points and two assists.


Cooper Getsfrid (West Albany) had a team-high 22 points, four rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block Friday in Linn-Benton’s 95-92 road win at Tacoma.

Women’s basketball

Corey James (West Albany) had 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and a steal Sunday in Portland State’s 90-78 victory at San Jose State.

Last Friday, James had eight points, six rebounds, an assist and a steal in a 79-67 loss at UC Davis.


Maci Bozett (Lebanon) had 14 points, four assists, three rebounds and two steals Sunday in Corban’s 70-69 loss at Lewis & Clark in Portland.

Saturday, Bozett had 10 points, four assists, three rebounds and a steal in an 84-77 loss to Linfield in Portland.


Paige Graham (Scio) had 13 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals Sunday in Linfield’s 67-58 loss to St. Catherine in Portland.

Saturday, Graham had 10 points, five rebounds and two assists in the victory over Corban.


Jane Cale (West Albany) was named Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament most valuable player after leading Chemeketa to its fourth championship.

Cale had 46 assists, 19 digs, five kills, three block assists, an ace and a stuff block in Saturday’s 3-2 victory over Bellevue in the championship match in Tacoma, Washington. Teammate Lauren Kerlegan (Lebanon) added 10 digs, six block assists and a stuff block.


Maddy Gravley (Santiam Christian) had one kill, one block assist and one dig Sunday in Oregon State’s four-set victory over visiting Washington State.

Last Friday, Gravley had 11 kills, five block assists and a dig in a five-set win over visiting Washington.


Libbie Hoene (Lebanon) had 27 digs, two assists and an ace Saturday in Western Oregon’s four-set home win over Saint Martin’s in Monmouth.

Last Thursday, Hoene had 23 digs, two aces, an assist and a kill in a five-set home loss to Seattle Pacific.


University of Providence’s Adrian Lyons-Lopez (South Albany) pinned Jonathan Moskowtiz in 1 minute, 56 seconds last Friday in a home dual against Warner Pacific in Great Falls, Montana.


Cal Baptist’s Austin Kleint (Lebanon) placed fourth in the 174-pound bracket at Saturday’s Emry-Riddle Open in Prescott, Arizona.
