Women’s basketball

Maci Bozett (Lebanon) had nine points and a rebound Saturday in Corban’s 58-53 home loss to College of Idaho in Salem.

Friday, Bozett had 18 points, three rebounds, an assist and a steal in a 77-53 home loss to Eastern Oregon.


Corey James (West Albany) had three points, seven rebounds and three assists Saturday in Portland State’s 77-64 home victory over Weber State.

Last Thursday, James had one rebound in an 88-59 home loss to Idaho State.


Ali Nelke (West Albany) had two points and six rebounds last Thursday in Western Oregon’s 65-56 home loss to Montana State Billings in Monmouth.


Paige Graham (Scio) had seven points, three rebounds and two assists Saturday in Linfield’s 78-63 home loss to Whitworth in McMinnville.

Friday, Graham had 12 points, two rebounds, an assist and a steal in a 69-62 loss to visiting Whitman.


Katie Skipworth (Lebanon) had seven points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals Saturday in Skagit Valley’s 83-63 home victory over Northwest Indian College in Mount Vernon, Washington.

Last Wednesday, Skipworth had eight points, nine assists, six rebounds and a steal in a 71-56 win at Whatcom in Bellingham, Washington.

Men’s basketball

Nate Sherwood (West Albany) had five points, four rebounds, three assists and a steal Saturday in Idaho’s 84-80 victory at Northern Arizona. Teammate Chad Sherwood (West Albany) added a rebound, an assist and a steal.

Last Thursday, Nate Sherwood had four points, six rebounds, two assists and a steal while Chad Sherwood recorded six points in an 80-76 win at Southern Utah.


Cooper Getsfrid (West Albany) had a team-high 13 points, four rebounds, two assists and two blocks last Wednesday in Linn-Benton’s 76-65 loss at Clackamas in Oregon City.


Cal Poly’s Colton Schilling (Sweet Home) pinned Northern Colorado’s Benjamin Polkowske in 2 minutes, 24 seconds in a 141-pound match during Friday’s dual meet in Greeley, Colorado. Northern Colorado won the dual, 21-20.

Teammate Ty Schilling (Sweet Home) lost a 17-6 major decision to Rico Montoya at 133.

The Mustangs were scheduled to wrestle at Air Force Sunday morning, but the dual was cancelled due to the federal government shutdown.


Scottie Stockman (Sweet Home) went 1-1 at 157 pounds Friday as Southern Oregon dropped a pair of duals with Embry-Riddle (24-17) and Simon Fraser (28-16) in Portland.

Women’s swimming

Lucie Davis (Sweet Home) finished second in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10 minutes, 28 seconds) and third in the 500 free (5:05.3) Saturday as Boise State defeated Wyoming 187-112 in a home dual.

Men’s indoor track and field

Jake LaCoste (West Albany), competing for Air Force, finished seventh in the high jump (6 feet, 2¾ inches) and long jump (22-11) Friday at the Air Force Team Challenge in Colorado Springs, Colorado.


Oregon Tech’s Josiah Stroup (Lebanon) finished 17th in the 200 meters at 23.21 seconds Saturday at the Bronco Invitational in Nampa, Idaho.

Women’s indoor track and field

Allison Young (West Albany), competing for Oregon Tech, placed 35th in the 60 with a time of 8.71 Saturday at the Bronco Invitational.
