Volleyball

Maddy Gravley (Santiam Christian) had one kill and four block assists Saturday in Oregon State’s 3-0 victory over Kansas State.

Friday, Gravley had eight kills, five block assists, one stuff block and one dig in a four-set win over Pacific. Earlier in the day, she had three kills, one block assist, one dig and one assist in a straight sets victory over Idaho.

All matches were part of the Beaver State Classic at Gill Coliseum.

Payton Rund (West Albany) had 12 kills, 13 digs, two block assists, one ace and one assist Saturday in Saint Mary’s’ 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh. Earlier in the day, she had five kills, two digs and two block assists in a straight sets loss to Washington.

Friday, Rund had six kills, four digs and a block assist in a 3-0 loss to Creighton.

All matches were part of the Husky Invitational in Seattle.

Ally Benedict (West Albany) had one dig Saturday in Portland State’s 3-0 victory over Eastern Kentucky at the Aztec Invitational in San Diego.

Whitney Webster (West Albany) had five kills and three digs Friday in Oregon Tech’s 3-1 loss to William Jessup. Teammate Bella Smith (Santiam Christian) had 10 digs, one kill, one ace and one assist.

Last Thursday, Webster had a combined 11 kills, five digs, three block assists, two services aces and one assist while Smith added 20 digs and one assist as Oregon Tech swept a pair of matches with Simpson and West Coast Baptist.

All matches were at the Simpson Tournament in Redding, California.

Amber Parker (West Albany) had 17 kills and 17 digs Saturday in Corban’s 3-2 win over Northwestern College. Teammates Haley Wells (West Albany) added 20 digs, three aces and two assists, Marandah Boeder (West Albany) eight kills, three block assists and one stuff block and Madison McLain (Santiam Christian) 28 assists, nine digs and two aces. Earlier in the day, Parker had 12 kills, four digs and two aces, Wells 16 digs, two aces and one assist, Boeder two kills, one dig and one block assist and McLain 15 assists, six digs and three kills in a straight sets win over Doane.

Friday, Parker had a combined 28 kills, 13 digs, one stuff block and one ace, Wells 50 digs, six aces and seven assists, Boeder 22 kills, one assist, one dig and three block assists and McLain 55 assists and 12 digs in a pair of wins over Dakota Wesleyan (3-0) and Morningside (3-2).

All matches were part of the Red Raider Classic in Orange City, Iowa.

Men’s soccer

Igor Hubenya (South Albany) played off the bench Sunday in Corban’s 2-1 overtime win at Pacific in Forest Grove.

Women’s soccer

Annie Anderson (Lebanon) started in the midfield last Thursday in Northwest Christian’s 2-0 loss at Linfield in McMinnville.
