Western Oregon’s A.J. Holmberg (Scio) took second in the 400 meters with a time of 50.15 seconds Friday at the John Knight Twilight in Monmouth.
Air Force’s Jake LaCoste (West Albany) finished 12th in the long jump at 21 feet, 3¼ inches last week at the Sun Angel Track Classic in Tempe, Arizona.
Josiah Stroup (Lebanon) placed sixth in the 400 (50.61) and 17th in the 200 (22.73) while running a leg on Oregon Tech’s 4x100 relay team that took second in 42.56 at Saturday’s Chico State Distance Carnival in Chico, California.
Teammate Alexander Turkins (South Albany) finished 18th in the hammer (123-09) and 21st in the discus (114-02).
George Fox’s Nicholas Armour (Santiam Christian) was seventh in the long jump with a mark of 20-7 Saturday at the Jenn Boyman Memorial Invitational in McMinnville.

Oregon Tech’s Allison Young (West Albany) placed 16th in the 100 (13.17) and 20th in the 200 (27.0) at the Chico State Distance Carnival.
Linfield’s Josie Knight (Sweet Home) finished fourth in the shot put at 33-8½ at the Jenn Boyman Memorial Invitational.
Competing for George Fox, Victoria Schroeder (Santiam Christian) shared fifth in the high jump at 4-10½. Teammate Tahnisha Manibusan (South Albany) was second in the discus (122-1) and 11th in the hammer (110-10).
Corban’s Mackenzie Wilson (East Linn Christian) took third in the 100 (12.77) and 200 (26.66) at the John Knight Twilight. Wilson also ran a leg on the Warriors’ 4x100 relay team that won with a time of 48.89.
Kelsey Broadus (West Albany) gave up three runs on three hits in one inning last Wednesday in Boise State’s 15-6 win at Utah Valley.
Cheyanne Rimer (Scio) went a combined 1 for 6 with an RBI and two walks Friday as Western Oregon dropped both legs of a road doubleheader with Northwest Nazarene in Nampa, Idaho.
Last Thursday, Rimer went a combined 0 for 6 with a walk and a run scored in a split at Northwest Nazarene.
Kaylee Buhrkuhl (Santiam Christian) went a combined 3 for 5 with two walks and three runs scored Friday as Corban swept a doubleheader with Providence in Hillsboro.
Last Thursday, Buhrkuhl went 0 for 2 with a walk and an RBI in an 8-0 victory over Providence.
Emily Marchbanks (Sweet Home) pitched eight total innings and allowed four runs on 10 hits with six strikeouts and a walk Sunday as Newberry swept a doubleheader with Lincoln Memorial in Harrogate, Tennessee.
Hannah Yelas (Santiam Christian) pitched seven innings, allowing 13 hits, seven earned runs and a walk with five strikeouts Saturday in Northwest’s 7-2 home loss to Eastern Oregon in Bothell, Washington.
She was 0 for 2 at the plate in the first game of the doubleheader, a 2-1 loss in 10 innings.
Friday, Yelas gave up eight hits, three earned runs and two walks in a 3-2 home loss to Eastern Oregon in Redmond, Washington.
In the second game, a 6-5 win, she was 2 for 3 with a RBI sacrifice fly and a run scored.
