Linn-Benton Community College overcame a halftime deficit and ended a two-game losing streak Wednesday with a 79-71 home win over Clackamas in the Northwest Athletic Conference South Division men's basketball game.
The Roadrunners trailed 37-33 at the half but outscored Clackamas 46-34 the final 20 minutes.
Taylor Jensen had 19 points and 10 rebounds and Cooper Getsfrid and Jake Sundquist each added 16, while Christopher Morsa chipped in 11.
All five of Jensen's made field goals were 3-pointers. The Roadrunners were 12 of 24 from beyond the arc.
LB (17-8, 7-5) is at Chemeketa on Saturday.
The Linn-Benton women’s basketball team got off to a great start but Clackamas was able to claw back and came away with a 67-59 NWAC South Division win.
The Roadrunners led 20-12 after the first quarter before Clackamas took a one-point lead at the half and slowly increased the lead.
LB gave up too many second chance points late and were unable to pull off the upset.
Breanna Bronson had 17 points and eight assists and Kelsey Wells added 11 points and 15 rebounds in the loss.
LB (9-15, 4-8) is at Chemeketa on Saturday.
