Kevin Reilly tossed a two-hit shutout to help the Linn-Benton Community College baseball team take the opener of a Northwest Athletic Conference South Regional doubleheader from Southwestern Oregon on Saturday afternoon.
Cole Hamilton drove in two runs and Damon Peters had three hits, including a double and triple, as the Roadrunners banged out four doubles and a triple in a 9-0 win.
LB overcame an early 2-0 deficit to make it 20 straight wins with an 8-2 victory in the nightcap to sweep the five-game series.
The Roadrunners (32-2, 19-1) scored two in the second to tie the game, then put up four in the fifth and two in the sixth to pull out the win.
Austen Carpenter and Jordan McDaniel combined to toss a one-hitter. Carpenter went five innings, giving up the one hit and two runs, but neither was earned. He walked one and struck out six.
DeQuahn Dennis-Lee, Tate Cowden and Derek Dardzinski each had two RBIs.
