LOS ANGELES — The Oregon State men’s golf team finds itself in a three-way tie for sixth place through 36 holes at the Pac-12 Championships on Monday at the Los Angeles Country Club.
California leads the tournament by nine shots over UCLA with Washington 14 back in third. OSU, Arizona State and Colorado all came in with 730. Oregon is a close ninth with a 732.
Individually, Brian Jung and David Fink are among those tied for 14th with a 3-over 143. Cal’s Max Homa leads by three strokes over teammate Michael Weaver after shooting a 9-under 131.
Also for OSU, Nick Sherwood and Nick Chianello each had a 147 and are tied for 34th. OSU’s Matt Rawitzer came in at 151 and Scott Kim at 153.
The tournament continues today with the third round beginning at 8 a.m.
