No on measure 101. All this is, is another sales tax. That additional tax will just raise the cost for all of us.
It's easy to balance bad management with taxpayers' money. Just think of the good the Oregon Health Authority could have done with the money, if it was not misappropriated to the tune of a $100 million-plus. The people in Salem don't care about living within their means. Let's tell them we care.
When OHA continues to pay the bills for ineligible people for a year, the system is broken. To give them more money makes no sense. To make the same mistakes over and over, you are called the government, because no one else could afford it. OHA has misspent over $100 million and seems to be doing fine.
Just for a moment, imagine that your business had the same accountants as the Oregon Health Authority and you are still in business: you would be in the Twilight Zone.
I urge you to vote no on Measure 101.
